Check the comparison price
An original or list price may not reflect the price most shoppers recently paid. Compare the current price across established retailers and, when available, look at recent pricing for the exact model.
Read the product identity
Check the model number, size, quantity, color and condition. Marketplace listings, bundles and older variants can make comparisons misleading. Confirm whether accessories are included and whether the seller is the retailer or a third party.
Examine the seller
Use the retailer’s official domain, secure checkout and clear contact and return information. Be cautious with lookalike domains, unusual payment requests and promotions that pressure you to act before you can verify the seller.
Calculate the full cost
Include shipping, sales tax, subscription requirements and return fees. A promotion that locks you into an unwanted membership may cost more over time.
Trust the checkout total
Coupon pages can become outdated. Confirm the actual discount before submitting payment and keep the retailer confirmation. If the terms are unclear, it is safer to pause.
